I know it is almost September, summer is almost over and we know what comes next... my fourth favorite season. But today I dug a new flower bed beside my house and planted a BUNCH of iris bulbs, thank you mom!! I left some space in the back and hopefully will get some cannas to grow. As long as I don't let either of my planting challenged boys plant them (upside down) it should be a lovely spot next spring and summer!! I'm excited! and tired. and hot. mostly hot.
